Schultz Creek trail 9/06

Monday 9/06. The third location I wanted to see today. After leaving the Kachina Wetlands on to I-17 to Flagstaff then onto hwy 180. Turned onto Schultz pass road passing some big homes to get to the parking area. On arrival lots of cars and bikers getting ready for the trail. One of the best areas I have seen. This trail will take you to the summit pass (over 4miles). After hiking for a mile left the main trail and started up a hill on a goat trail to the cache. Almost gave up finding this one but got it. Then down the hill to the schultz trail. I decided to do more hiking up the main trail for another 1 mile. I came across hikers and bikers. Then headed back to the jeep. Back to Flagstaff to Frys for some food shopping before returning to the RV park. Going to dinner with Sue & Harold in Winslow since they are leaving on tue am.
