After the Show-shoe hike I wanted to drive into the forest for another cache that was just placed. Turns out I was the 3rd one to sign the log sheet. Wow what a wild ride in my jeep. I'm sure there was a better way to the cache. I took 191C from Hwy180 > to FS 767 >to cross roads 760/767. Since its the beginning of hunting season, campsites are near the cache. Travel back out on 760 but was nervous since I don't know the area. Came across a Hunter, who comfirmed I can get to Hwy 180 by going right at the forks, putting me on 191. I passed the parking lot for the Slate Mtn hike then 2 mi to Hwy 180. Which I want to do at a later date. What a fun afternoon. Total drive in & out about 10mi.
Turned on to FS rd 767 after driving for 4mi
This section was smooth compare to want was coming up
