We (Chuck/Jerry & Kenny) set out to do some geocaching located west of Flagstaff. Heading off to the area where lava caves can be seen in the Coconino Nat'l forest. The one we went into was 3/4 mile long. One needed a flashlight and jackets as the temp dropped down to 32 deg. Inside the cave, the rocks are slick and jumbled. With the used of the light source we could see ripples along some portions of the cave floor from the flowing lava, stone "icicles" & a big room which reaches 30ft high. We only got to the big room (less then half way) because Jerry's big light was going out. Fun adventure.
