New Hobby - Geocaching

While at Kachess lake, camphosts, Ron/Charmaine got me interested in geocaching. Its like a treasure hunt (without the treasure) by using a GPS handheld device. After Labor Day wkend they took me out to do 3/4 caches. I was hooked. What fun. This sport/hobby is very popular thru out the world. Want more info, go to http://www.geocaching.com/

Did geocaching around the Washingtion area, then in Canada (my visit to see Joe/Robb) and on the way back home (Yuma AZ).

Ok, wanted to be the first to comment on your "New Hobby" . Being the ones to introduce you to geocaching we just couldn't resist !!! We are busy this summer building a new home but so miss the time spent geocaching. We plan to do many catch up geocaches this winter on the Washington coast (not sure if we will travel to Arizona). We hid a night cache this spring called "CSI Ellensburg". How fun!! This cache must be done at night and takes a flashlight to take you on a scary walk on the Yakima River bank following reflectors placed on trees. The college kids from Central Washington University seem to really like this one !!
