Seattle trip #3 8/17

*
Sunday 8/17
Another early start from ken's place.  Headed to Snoqualmie Pass. About a 45 min drive east. This Geo event is called "Going Ape". An annual event.  The geo name has something to do about the start of geocaching years ago. After checking in and doing some activities we went over to the Train tunnel which was built in 1912. In the late 1980 it was converted into a walking trail.  Its a 2.3 mi walk from one end to the other end.  You need a flashlight. Did some geocaching on the trail at the other end.  Headed back to Ken's place around 3p. Then later connected with Scott & Kenny for a Mexican dinner.  Early  to bed.  Returning to Phx tomorrow, Monday.

Here at the Iron Horse Park for the Geo Event
