Headed to Phoenix to check out the Phx Botanical garden. This garden was started in 1939 which covers 125 acres. One can take a tour or just walk on your own. During the month of May, there is a Butterfly exhibit. Spent over 3 hrs enjoying this wonderful garden including lunch.
Purchased another ticket to the TOPIA performance. An outdoor ballet, dancing to Beethoven's symphoney #6. Since this performance dosen't start until 7:30p I left the garden and did some geocaching near by and then to Comfort Suites hotel for my check in. Hotel located about 12mi from Garden off of I-17 (exit 208). Booked thru HotWire for $38.00. Room was a suite, really nice. Relax then off to see the ballet.
