Drove up from Meteor Crater RV park to Show Low. Arrived at Chuck/Bill's place around 9am.
After some coffee & do-nuts headed out to show low lake to do this special geocache. Hiking a neat
trail around the lake to a small rocky hill. We found the area to remove a stack of rocks and ply wood to expose a hole into a shaft. I climbed down about 5 ft to get the cookie tin (geocache) in order to sign the log. Kind of scary going down into the hole.Bill/Chuck were here a couple of weeks ago.
From here we headed to Pinetop and travel along FR 117 to area call Greens Peak. Elev there was over 10,000. Got some rain and hail. Did some great hiking and geocaching. Got back to show low to meet some gals for Mexican dinner. Will leave early morning for Scottsdale.
