Munds Park Hike tue 6/22

Headed out to Munds Park off I-17. Good looking homes in this hilly area with a golf course. Our first stop was to find a geocache. The hard part was trying to get down to the creek with out crossing over private property. Then a quick stop to the next cache on a small lake in the area. From here we drove out onto a dirt road called FS240 or Mormon lake Rd. Our goal was to get to the lake about 14 miles. Again a stop at a trail head called Crystal Trail. Nice hike up the hill with great views and we picked up 3 more caches. Back onto the road. A stop at a meadows of aspens trees - neat. Returning to the jeep we noted that the rear tire was flat. After changing the tire we headed back to Flagstaff (about 3pm) to see if Big O could fix the tire. I just purchased new tires the previous week. In and out in 20 min. Didn't get to Mormon lake. A late lunch before heading back to the RV park. Fun day.
