Thanks Giving at MC

Some how I deleted some pictures on my phone.  Bummer.
Visitor ctr and Rv store was able to close at 1:30pm.
In attendance : Tom & Teresa, Edurado, Summer, Bob & Vicki, Jeff.
Great company, good food- just a fun day including watching football. All in our Day Room here at the Rv Park.

1961 Corvette.
 One of our Rv Guest here at MC Rv Park  had  this corvette.  Got to sit in it and have my pictures taken. Pretty cool.

TO Phx 10/19-20

Have another dental apt on Monday am. Therefore I go down to Mesa/Phx the day B 4 my appointment. 
Sunday: Headed to Phx via hwy 17.  Always wanted to stop here at Rock Springs (I-17 Black Canyon area). Goes back to late 1800. Stage coach stop and resting area for Indians.  Of  course there were two geocaches to find.  Then inside for some great coconut cream pie.

Sunday:
After early dental appointment. Headed to an area call Baseline along the canal for some geocaching. Found 4 of them.

Decided go to Ikea in Tempe.  Love this place. Great ideas to do some furnishing.  Picked up a couple of items.
Took in a movie- "Fury"  before going back to Meteor Crater RV park.

At Walnut canyon there was a new geocache to get. But you had to climb the tree. Kind of tricky getting  up there but did it.

MC apartment- my new place

I moved into the Meteor Crater apartment in the RV park the wk end of 10/4  from the company trailer. Got the apartment fixed up with a few new things.  It has two bedrooms therefore I can now have a place for guests.  A lot more room. :)

Roberta works at the Crater Visitor center, gift shop.  Chris & Roberta got marry the weekend before the reception.  Reception held at PT's bar with big patio area. Nice evening.

9/21 sunday
Headed to SL on sunday from MC Rv park.  Planning to stay with Connie. Arrived late in the afternoon. After a quick visit went to the movie to see the Maze Runner-good movie. Then a stop at Wal-Mart around 630p in the rain.

9/22 Monday
At 7am rec'd notification that there was new geocache at SL lake. Sooooo headed over there around 8am. Yep got a "first to find".  Then did some more geocaching.  Total find was 3. Back to house. Connie & I headed out for some lunch around 1pm.  Left SL around 4p for the return trip to Meteor crater.
