After our trip to Graffiti hill we headed to the Garden Cafe in old town yuma.  Met friends there for a nice brunch.   After brunch, stopped and with visit Les (TJ) . Shopping at Wal-mart then to Bob/Derick place to watch a movie  "the Queen".

Graffiti Hills East of Yuma, AZ on the California side of the Colorado River is a unique area of rock graffiti with thousands of rock messages. Dirt roads do not require 4 Wheel drive.
We drove out here about 9am before it got hot. Fun walking around.

Downtown Yuma
Went to the Quartermaster Park.  Lots of history here.  Hard to believe that padle wheel boats used to stop here when the Col River was here.

Left for yuma after work for the 5 1/2 hr drive.

After breakfast we, Marie, Andy & I headed to Museum of History in Granite also known as the Center of the World.  The location is off of hwy 8 about 10mi west of Yuma.
Met our tour guide. She gave us some info and watched a video.  Then a walked to the Hill of Prayer. Ate  our lunch there.  We got to meet the owner.  Fascinating man.  Down the road was geocache that we found before returning to yuma.
