RV house batteries replace 11/9

Had to take a day off to take care of my RV battteries problem. On monday, I discover that the house batteries were  NOT being  charge by the shore line elec (110).  Since the current batteres were 4 yrs old, it was time to replace them.   Into Flagstaff to do price comparison.  Went to flagstaff Rv, Walmart, Sam's club and Napa.  Finally make a purchase at NAPA.   Thanks to Dereck at the Meteor Crater RV park to intalling the batteries.  Even had to replace the eye hooks on the cables to the battery.  So far everything is up and running.

Prescott Valley 11/6

Prescott Valley geocaching trip.
Kim & I left meteor crater rv park about 830am.  We were meeting up with co-workers Katy/Dereck, who went down on saturday nite to visit friends.   Arriving there we all headed to IHop for breakfast.  After some shopping we got Kathy on the road to head back to Winslow.  Then Dereck, Kim & I started our geocaching adventure.  Did searching around the shopping area off of hwy 69.  Then onto 169 to I-17.  A stop for a early dinner at camp verde then back home.  Weather in PV was cold but no snow like Flagstaff.  Found 12 geocaches..

11/01 geocaching: cornville > Sedona

Tuesday 11/01
We left meteor crater Rv park about 930am.  Kathy/Derek, Kathy's dad Bob & me.
Headed to Flagstaff then down I-17 to exit 293.  Geocache along the Cornvill hwy to cornville.
Travel to Cottonwodd hwy 89A.  Stopped for a late lunch.  Continue onto Sedona doing some
geocaching in the dark with flaslights.    Return to RV park about 8pm.  Over 100 miles. Found 26 goecaches.

Rocky Horror picture show 10/31

Monday  10/31
Its Halloween.  Six of us from work went to flagstaff to see the Rocky Horror pic show.
We attended the late show.  Doors open at 10pm , show at 11pm.  Crazy fun. Back at the RV park at 1am.

Camp Verde 10/25

.... continue the days adventure.
After geocaching at Stoneman Lake area we procided south for another 25 mi to Camp Verde.  Then into an area called Copper Canyon.  Very nice.  Lots of caches.  It was raining off and on.  We proceeded on the dirt road caching along the way.  Found about 10 more caches.  By 5pm, starting to get dark so time to head out.  Back to I-17 & hwy 260  and a stop at Mcdonald's,  Fun day.  We arrived back the  RV park about 8pm.

Stoneman Lake 10/25

Tuesday 10/25 Stoneman lake
Off to do some geocaching in the S. Lake area which is located off I-17 south about a 1 1/5 hr  drive from Meteor Crater.  Then a 9 mi drive into the lake area.  Lake has very little water at this time. Lots of cabins here.  We found 7 caches in the area.  Including two snakes.  Then a picnic before heading to Camp Verde about another 1/5 hr dirve.
