Vacation Time in Yuma 2/8-17

Vacation in Yuma    2/8-17
Left for Yuma after work on Friday 2/7 My Birthday.
This post is just a out line of the events for the week.  The other post will have pictures and info.

2/8-9 sat/sun were geocaching days.  Big Geo Events. Satuday evening went to my Birthday dinner.  Sunday met up with Bob/Derrek for a movie - Monument Men (very good) follow by
a dinner at chili's.  Monday apt with Doctor for my annual phys check up-good.
2/11 tue  lots of running around
2/12 wed . Lunch with friend TJ then picked up Marie at the airport coming in from Dallas. 
2/13  thur Marie and I headed to Mexico for dental appt's
2/14 Hiking in the am.  Then over to TJ's house for card nite. 10  people.
2/15 sat Marie and I went to Welton to do a geo Art called the Star.  Then dinner with friends
2/16 sun Trip to San Diego to see my Brother
2/17 mon packed up and headed back to Meteor Crater

Winery 2/3

 2/3/14 Monday
Co-workers, Charly , Ed & I headed to a Winery in Camp Verde.  About an Hr drive from Flagstaff. It was snowing in the Flag area heading south on I-17 from hwy 40.
We relax in front of a fireplace in the tasting room and had 5 samples of wines.  And a cheese platter.
From here to the Cliff casino back to Flag for some shopping before returning to the Rv Park.

Super Bowl 2/2

* Super Bowl game  2/2 sunday
 ---Seattle/Seahawks  V  Denver/Broncos
The get together was at Ed's apt at Meteor Crater.
I ordered a cool cake from Wal Mart / Winslow.  Great job.
More co-workers showed after work, 530.
Seahawks won   43 - 8    wow

show low 1/26

* 1/26/14  sunday
Went to show low on Saturday and stayed at TJ's condo.  Sunday, make a list of geocaches I wanted to find.  Off to Woodlake park.  Found a couple of them there. Created a new geocache to be publish later.  Then off to the forest for a nice hike.  Creek/ponds were still frozen.
Late lunch and headed back to Meteor crater.

* Saturday  1/18
Out with co-workers Kathy/derek and Cathy/Bob.
Headed to Snowflake, Taylor,  Lunch in Slow low,  Then to around to Pinedale off hy260.
Back to Snowflake to get a first to find before returning to Meteor crater. Long day and lots of fun.
