geo day with friends 1/18

Out with co-workers Kathy/derek and Cathy/Bob.
Headed to Snowflake, Taylor,  Lunch in Slow low,  Then to around to Pinedale off hy260.
Back to Snowflake to get a first to find before returning to Meteor crater. Long day and lots of fun.

Geocaching trip W/H/S 11/16

Us: me, Kathy/Derek, and Kathy's mon and dad Kathy/Bob. We  left Winslow @9am
This geocaching trip took us on hy99 from Winslow then onto FSR34 , FSR300 to hwy 260 to Heber, and Show low and back to Winslow on hwy77. Lots of stops getting our caches.  They showed me where they will be camping /hunting after Thanksgiving.  At the higher elevation it was windy and temp was 39.  A stop at Woods lake, awesome.  Late lunch (3pm) in show low. Shopping at the CAL store.  More geocaching. Back to the Rv park around 7pm.  Fun day, new adventures.

Water tank created by the Boy Scott's many years ago. The water flows into the tank for the wild life.

Called the "Blind" for hunting

Hunters camp site.  Geocache was 30 ft from then. We talked to the hunters and explained about geocaching.

Travel down hwy 17 to Cornville. Then to Page Springs. Wine places and Trout Fish Hatchery. Lunch in Cottonwood .  Then Dead Horse Camping area for more geocaching. To Sedona and back to MC Rv park. Fun day.

Great to be here.   Andy & I went to the Swap Meet and did some geocaching.
Then a movie with Bob/Derek then dinner.

Went to a geocaching Breakfast. Nice turn out.
Then a visit with Les.

Trip to Mexico
Dinner at Scott & Kenny's house.
