SL/geo/BBQ 5/26

Saturday 5/26
Left RV park around 10am and headed to Show Low.
Spent afternoon with Coni.  Out to lunch, Mexican food. Back to Coni's place and watched a movie. Later went to TJ's condo and spent the night there.
Sundays 5/27
Contacted Bill/Chuck.  We decided to have breakfast at Denny's and then off to do some geocaching off of Porter mtn rd.  Left show low about 230p.  Have to be back by 5pm.

Arrived back at Rv Park.  Set up for BBQ with co-workers. Then we played poker.  I won 2nd place. Cool.  Nice evening at Kathy's / Dereck place.

Yuma /Graduation 5/18

5/17/13  friday
After work (meteor crater) headed to yuma for the 6 hr drive to attend the Derrick's graduation.

Graduation party was held at Bob/Derrick's house. Nice turn out. Friends and family.

Bob's brithday.  At our house for dinner and cake.

Show Low 5/11

Saturday 5/11
Packed up early and left Meteor Crater RV park and headed to Show Low.  Arrived at TJ's condo about 9am.  Called Bill/Chuck to determine went we would start our geocaching hike. We had a nice breakfast at Denny's before hitting the trail called the Cave Trail. Of course nine caches to find.
At the cave site we met a family that just came from the cave.   The area was the last cache. Around trip was about 5 mi..  Back to Bill / Chucks  to clean up before going to Dinner at Darbe's. The hiked tired us out.  We only found 7 caches out of 9. Two we couldn't find.
Sunday 5/12.
Nice morning at TJ's enjoying coffee and reading my Kindle out on the deck.  Headed out for 3 more caches before heading back to Rv park.

Laughlin 5/4-6

Trip to Laughlin NV
Sat 5/4/13
Left MC rv park around 8am, heading for Laughlin.  Checked in at the Riverside hotel. Then off to playing slot machines.  Fun.  Took a nap and then a snack. Went to movie at the hotel to see 42.   After that played some more slots until midnight. Wow way past my bed time.
Sunday  5/5
Its Cinco de mayo day.  A nice buffet breakfast, free.  Then off to do some geocaching along the river.  Its called the River walk  caching.  So I walked 4 mi ( 8mi around triip). Long day since I stopped at every casino to check them out.  Had  some rum & cokes, playing slots.  At the Golden Nugget there was a big BaJa music event .   Fun.  Moving on for more geocaching. Getting dark. Stopped at Panda Express for dinner.  Returned to hotel around 10pm.
Monday 5/6
Slept in .  Packed my bag.  Then down to the buffet for breakfast. After that went to the bridge , crossed it to AZ for some geocaching.  Back to hotel and checked out.  Drove back to MC rv park. Arrived about 4pm.
Fun weekend.

Twin arrow casino 5/3

Fri evening after work, some of us went to the new Casino called Twin Arrows (Navajo). About 12 mi from meteor crater rv park.The grand opening will be 5/22.  Like wow.  It does have a las Vegas feel.  There for about an hour then back home.
