1/17 Geocaching in the snow

After work (1pm) we (kathy/derek & Bob) headed to flagstaff for some geocaching in the snow. Crazy, yep.  Fun afternoon.

Name of cache was, Kinda Fishy.  Had to a fish line and hook to retrieved the container

Zoo Lights -Phoenix 1/05

 

1/05/13   Saturday

Andy and Bob/Derek came up from Yuma. I came down from Meteor Crater.  We all met at the Hotel in Phoenix that I booked for us.  Early dinner and then to the Zoo around 6pm.  Very different. So many lights. Around the lagoon more light sync to holiday music. Cool. Couple of hours here then back to the hotel. Of course a stop at the rstr across the street for some dessert. Next moring Bob/Derek had to leave very early for the return trip to Yuma.  Andy & I  had nice a leisurely morning before coming back to Meteor Crater.  A stop at Cliff Casino.  Then to flagstaff for some shopping.

Woke up to some snow.  Pretty cool.  Now have to get ready for work and walk to the store.

Merry Christmas-2012

Christmas in Yuma

Have 4 days off so I got to spent some time with Andy.  Arrived in Yuma 12/22 and returned to Meteor crater christmas day.  Got Andy back to the house/apt from Scott/Kenny house.  Everyone has been so helpful taking care of Andy after his heart surgery.  God Bless all of you.

Meteor Crater Christmas Party

The annual Meteor Crater Christmas party.  Inoder to save money, the event was held at a sports bar called BoJo in Winslow.  The dinner was good.  Getting together was the spirit of the holidays.

12/2 sedona Film Fest

 



12/2/12  SedonaFilm Festival

Headed to Sedona to see Ballet in cinema at the Mary Fisher Theatre.  Cool building.

 

Story:

A young English Lord traveling through Egypt takes shelter in a pyramid with a group of Egyptian merchants. After a round of opium, he has a fantastic dream in which he is transported to ancient times and enchanted by a powerful Pharaoh's daughter. Originally a hit when first staged in 1862, The Pharaoh's Daughter fell out of favor with the Soviet regime. In 2000, Pierre Lacotte was commissioned to resurrect Petipa's mighty Egyptian fresco, and it became a hit yet again. This production stars Svetlana Zakharova as the Egyptian princess and Ruslan Skvortsov as the English Lord.
