Yuma to Meteor Crater 3/3

Well its time to head back to Meteor Crater (N.AZ).  Arrived at MC RV park around 2pm. Since I left
the RV here it was easy to settle in.  Everything was looking good.  Have a couple of days before starting work on tuesday.

Camel Farm 3/1

Teamed up with some friends for  a trip to the Camel Farm  south of Yuma. Besides the camels
all kinds animals from all over the world. Weather was great to enjoy this outing.

Acadamy Awards Party 2/26

2/26/12 sunday   The 2nd annual Acadamy Awards Party.
Party hosted by Bob & Derek here in Yuma Foothills.   Lots of fun and pizza.  We had
ballots to fill out.  Then write our selection on tickets on wall for 10 catagories.  Who ever
got the most wins recieve a special prize.

Geo Event in Yuma 2/19

The annual Geocaching Event #9 in Yuma.  Nice sunny day.  Over 300 + were in attendance.  Lots of fun games and great BBQ food.  And some coool prizes..

Yuma Geo/Breakfast 1/8

The SWAG (south west AZ geocachers) breakfast was held at the Holiday Inn in Yuma. Schedule time is 8am but most people are there by 7am.  Nice turn out. I donated some items from Meteor Crater.   JJ gave a demo on using a computer software call QSAK.  After the event off to do some geocaching..

Saturday 1/7
Previous day was pack up day.   Faith (co-worker) & Paul (husband) took me out to lunch on friday in Winslow.  Mexican food at the Brown Jug.   Saturday morning, cleaned the RV and by noon I was
ready to leave.  The RV is staying there since I will return the end of Feb.  Trip to Yuma was OK.  Getting into warmer areas was just great.  Arrived in Foothills/Yuma about 6pm.  Then out to dinner with some friends.

Sedona 1/01

The four of us (kathy/derek & kim) headed to Sedona for geocacing on the first day of 2012. Wow 2012 already.  Our first stop was Bootleg Park off of 89A before getting to Sedona for a geocache called "Nameless"-this was are 3rd attempt trying to find it. We walked down to the OakCreek area.. since the creek was low, we were able to get across it. Yea, we found the cache. From here a drive to the Sedona airpost. We then hiked up one of the red hills for another cache. Such a nice sunny day. Felt good to be outside in Tshirts & shorts.  Hiked was a 2 mi round trip. Then off to CottonWood to eat at Sizzler. After a late lunch we headed back to Sedona picking up 5 more caches on the way. Back at the RV around 6:30pm. Fun Day.
