Before our group outing, I went to Winslow off of hyw87 to find a cache. Turns out I got a "first to Find". Then back to the Meteor Craer RV park.
We all left for flagstaff about 1:30p . Our first stop was at the Fairgrounds for two geocaches. Then onto hyw 180 pass the Northern AZ museum where a dam is located. The sky was getting very dark, temp dropping and lighting. Didn't find the cache. Its now 4:30p, time to eat. Back to Flagstaff to a Chinese place we all like. I was treated to a farewell dinner. My last working day at the Crater is 10/31. The drive back to the RV park included lots of rain. fun Day.

Its called Jack's canyon off of Hyw 87 from Winslow
Nice group shot, Derek took the pic. At the Fairground with a .35 hike.

Show Low#2 10/11

Here at White Mtn RV resort.
Friends Kenny/Scott were staying at the Resort, renting a RV spot. Right next to it was a lot for sale. After some investigation and working with the agent, they decided to buy it. Lots of work a head of them. Sewer, elec, rv pad, etc. Some of work will have to wait until spring since its getting cold up there in show Low.

Monday 10/11
Headed to Show Low to visit my friend TJ (from Yuma). Arrived around noon and then we went to White Mtn RV resort to visit other friends Bill & Chuck for the BBQ. Weather was so nice, sunny & blue sky. The outing was great, good food and company. Later in the afternoon, six of us went for a walk to see the area and to see Kenny & Scott newly purchase lot (next log entry). Back at TJ's condo around 8pm. Nice day.

Sakura sun eve 10/3

A group of us went to a restaurant in Flagstaff called Sakura for Jim' s birthday.
Rstr is part of the Radission Hotel. Sakura means Cherry Blossom in Japanese. We sat at a Teppan table and watch the food being prepared for us. The chef, Ryan, dazzle us with his culinary skills and we experience the "ring of fire". Great food. Lots of fun.
Jim & Bunny are the mgr's here at the Meteor Crater RV park.
