SL 8/30

Trip to Show Low 
8/30-31  sat-sunday
Headed to SL early Saturday morning.  Arrived at TJ's condo about 10am. Called Bill/Chuck to set the time for some geocaching. Went to Pinetop area and into the forest. Fun. Later for a early dinner. Returned to Bill/Chuck place for a card game of "Hand & Foot".  Then watched a movie I rec'd from Netflix called "Fire in the Sky".
Sunday
Early breakfast. Some geocaching and back at noon.  The guys need to get ready for the community BBQ.  I left about 4p for Meteor crater in order to play poker with co-workers.

Saturday  8/18
Headed to Show Low from Meteor crater Rv park.  Arrived at TJ's condo in the afternoon. I did a quick geocaching stop in Snow Flake.  TJ and & I went to the movie to see the Butler- very good.
After the movie went to Bill/Chuck's place to play some cards.
Sunday  8/19
Met the guys at a cute café in SL called Love's.  Busy and very good food.  From here we headed to Heber to do some geocaching .   Rain in the afternoon before returning to SL.  An hour nap then on to Bill/Chuck's community hall to play cards.  Three tables of poker, Mexican train and Hand+Foot.
Nice evening.
Monday 8/20
Head back to MC with a stop at Wal-Mart .  Dropped off the shopping bags at the trailer and onto Flagstaff to have the oil change in the jeep.

Meteor Crater Rv Store

Meteor Crater Rv Park Store.
Just some pic's showing the layout of the store that I work at here at the Park.
Duties include checking in Rv'ers, making Rv reservations by phone using  the Campground computer software, waiting on people buying merchandise and operating the computer software for selling gas.  Checking in product, pricing product and answering questions about the crater/Visitor center five miles up the road.

Trip to Show Low on Saturday .
Sat:
Arrived in SL early afternoon. First stop was to the Verizon store to purchased the Galaxy S4 phone. Another new toy. :)  Then TJ and I went to the movie to see "meet the millers". Very funny. Then some dinner.

Monday 8/12

Relaxing morning then off for some breakfast. TJ wanted to take me to this interesting place. LOL

A little hole in the wall for Mexican breakfast. Food was very good.









 



Got a hint for a geocache we tried to find the day before. Wow, tough one.

sunday 8/4  (chuck/bill, TJ and me)
We got a early start since we are heading to St John's for some geocaching. First stop was at Denny's for breakfast.  Busy place at 8:30am. Trip to St J. is about 45mi. Nice little town with some cool history. There was a string of new caches, 13 of them spaced about 500+ feet apart. Not hard to find its good for the find numbers.  Over all we found 20 caches.  Back to SL in the rain.  Then at 630p for some card games at bill/chuck community hall.
