flagstaff art geo 8/22

Saturday 8/22
Headed to Flagstaff to do another geo multi-cache, Flagstaff art walk #2.  Really fun seeing these different wall art.  Collected the 9 different numbers for the final cache to sign the log.  Great lunch at Sosoba which serves noodle bowl soup.  Very good.   While walking back to the truck, I witness a couple getting hit in the cross walk. The car did knock them over. They did get up on their own feet. I called 911.  Police took my name and phn #.
  Saw the movie "Man from Uncle".  Remember the TV series?  Movie was good.
Back home around 5pm and got ready for the trip to Show Low.

8/15  Saturday
After an hour at work headed to Flagstaff.  First stop was at the entrance to Walnut canyon for a geocache.  Then onto Flagstaff around noon.  Did another geo series- Flagstaff sculptures. Had to go to 9 different locations to obtain an number for the final coordinates.   Lunch at Mix (salads & soups) in Heritage Square. Very popular place.  Continue on collecting my numbers and enjoying  the various sculptures.  With the new coordinate off to find the cache to sign the log which was in a tree near where I parked the truck. Funny.  Walked back to the Flagstaff Brewery for a dark beer.  Then back home.

Geo/Flag 8/08

8/08/15 Saturday

Headed to Flagstaff early morning to attend a geocaching event. It was held at Marcy’s coffee shop in the old section of Flag.  Cool & busy place. Great meeting other geocachers. The hosts were a young couple that just moved to Flag. Fun to exchange geo stories.  After the event, there was a multi-cache to work on.  Called  Flagstaff art.  This type took me to 10 different locations to wall art.  All with walking in the old towndown area. Each art had a question with multi answers. Each answer had a number.  Collecting all these numbers will give me the final location to find the cache to sign the log.  Took a couple hours. Love watching all the people touring the town.

Then off for lunch & a beer at Lumber Yard rstr which is also a brewery.  Fun day.

Bus. trip to LV 8/05

 Business Trip to Las Vegas NV

Food Show put on by Core Mark. The company we deal with for all our food products, snacks and misc stuff. The show was held at the Gold Coast casino. My co-worker Nacho and I left tuesday at 530p arriving at 1030pm. A small meal some playing on slots and then to bed. Up at 6am to be at the 7am show. Very interesting. Learned alot. Then back on the road at 130pm for the return trip to Meteor crater. Arrived home around 6pm. To fast of a trip.
