Flagstaff 6/23/14

* Monday 6/23
Headed to Flagstaff.  Stopped at Big "O" to get the tires rotated.  From here to an area for 2 geocaches.  Very exclusive area  with beautiful homes.  Then lunch at Panda Express. Drove over to Saw Mill Park to do a multi-cache. Three stages to the final cache to sign the log.Its a Labyrinth. Really cool. Shopping at Walmart before going home.   Fun sunny day.

Day in SL 6/22

* 6/22/14
Just a Day trip to Show Low and back to Meteor Crater.
Left early from MC.  First stop was in Holbrook to get a new geocache. Was hoping for a "first to find" but that didn't happen.  Couldn't find it.   Then continue on to SL. 
 Went over to Bill/Chuck townhouse for a visit.  Out for early lunch at  Grumpy Jakes, great BBQ food. They had a busy schedule so I headed over to a Art Festival.  Then to Buck Springs road for some geocaching.  From there to the movie to see Jersey Boy's, great movie.  Connected with the guys at Wendy's at 530p. Decided to head back to MC after checking on TJ's condo.

Hiking in Flagstaff 6/16

Monday 6/16/13
Headed to Flagstaff this morning to have a oil change on the Truck. Then a stop at Verizon store. From here finding a way to hike on a trail call the Az Scenic trail.  Very popular for hiking and biking.  Found 3 geocaches (of course).  Did a 3 mi hike (around trip).  Then a stop at wal-mart for some shopping before heading back to Meteor Crater.  Nice sunny day but very windy.

Taste of Winslow 6/13

After work, some of us headed to Winslow to participate in the annual event "Taste of Winslow".
The event was held at PT a popular Bar with a large patio area.  Various food vendors spread out their goodies.  Cost was $10.00.  Nice selection of foods. Later a ticket Drawing and then a Auction.   Fun event.

Show Low 6/8

Headed to Show Low on Saturday afternoon 6/7.  Stayed with friend TJ. On Sunday went for a hike off of Joe Tank road near Bison Ridge where I stay.  The hike was 5 mi around trip. Beautiful morning.  Was searching for a geocache called Raven's Nest.  Was surprise when I arrived. It was a grave site for a dog called Raven.

After the movie, Edge of Tomorrow, we (TJ & I) headed to Pinetop/Lakeside to find two geocaches. Took us to an area which has beautiful homes and condos.
