Yuma -geo- 4/27

* Sunday in Yuma   4/27
Around 10am Andy & I headed out to the Barry Goldwater range for some geocaching.  There was 2 new caches published this am.  Droved about 6 mi onto the range to the furthest cache.  Then back picking up about 8 caches.
1st stop was called the Where's the Wood.
Next stop, called the Make the circuit.  This was a awesome one. You had to place each hand on the side of the box. Then looked thru the peep hole.  A buzzing sounded when the circuit was right and a blue light came on (in the peep hold) to display 3 set of numbers for the combination lock.  Very cleaver.
After geocaching went to visit friend TJ. Then back to pick up Andy. Headed over to Scott / Kenny's place for a BBQ with Bob/Dereck.  Later a few games of FAST Track.

Flagstaff hike 4/21

* Monday 4/21
Into Flagstaff this morning (about 11am) after doing house/trailer cleaning.  Need to have the tires rotated on the truck.  At Big-O, was told it would be a couple of hours for my turn,  So headed to the Urban tail for some geocaching.  Hiked 4 mi around trip- over 2 hours.  Got 3 caches.  This series has 15 caches for a total 12 mi one way.  Hmmm.  Enjoyed this adventure and great views.
  Back to Big-O for the tires to be rotated and then to Wal-Mart for some shopping.  Back at the RV Park around 4pm.

Easter-movie-geo 4/20

* Sunday 4/20/14
Easter Sunday
Nice sunny morning here at the Rv Park.  Did some clean up outside of trailer and worked on my plants.  Had a nice breakfast outside before getting ready to go to flagstaff.  Movie time, saw Transcendence.  Good one. After the moive went to the NAU campus to find a geocache. Quite on the campus.  Heard a REI store was opening at the Aspen Mall (flagstaff). Went to check it out but it doesn't open to 4/25.  Then  a Wal-Mart stop  before returning  to MC Rv park.

geo-Williams

*
4/19  Saturday
Off to do some geocaching near Williams az.  We (Kathy,Bob, me) left Meteor Crater RV
park about 930am.  There's a series of caches (11 of them ) called Snow Days about 6 mi
off of Hwy 40 into the forest. Sunny morning but looks like rain will come later.  Our first
stop was in Flagstaff to pick up one geocache.  All the caches for the snow day containers, pill bottle,
were in the trees since they were placed in the winter.   About 10 mi into the forest we came across
the Boys Scout Camp for 1 geo.  Talked to the care taker there - nice guy.  Then onto  Williams for
lunch.  Timing was good, since it started to rain. Back to Flagstaff with stops at CAL Ranch store
and Home Depot.  Fun day.
