McNary AZ 9/30

* Sunday 9/30/12
Trip to Show low, arriving saturday afternoon.  Connected with Bill/Chuck for dinner and planning our geocaching adventure for sunday.
  Sunday:  We headed to Pinetop. Our first stop was an area that Chuck wanted to see call Pine Lake. Condo's/Town house surround their own little lake. Then continue onto McNary AZ near the casino and into the forest to do some geocaching.  Our last find was climbing a hill, going from evel of 7100 to 8000. Like wow.  Great views at the top. Back down and back to Pinetop for a late lunch. Some sight seeing before returning to their townhouse to watch football/Cardinals .Late afternoon I headed back to Meteor Crater.   Fun day.  Only got 4 geocaches.

Sunday 9/16/12
Met up with friends Cathy & Jim who were season workers here at Meter Crater las year. They were boomdocking (dry camping) off of Hwy 89 in the forest in Flagstaff.  From their camp site we headed to Sandy Seep trail head to do some hiking and geocaching.
  Sandy seep trail head to Az trail, to Little Elden trail, to the Heart trail.  Mile in we stopped for the first geocache which was in the tree.  Continue on another mile to the next cache.  This one we couldn't find.   A little snack in the shade before returning to our Jeeps.  Great hike to elevation of 7645 with awesome views.   Said my good byes and cleaned up for the Birthday dinner at Red Lobster.  Total hike miles was over 5 miles.
