Trip to Show Low 5/30-31

Bill//Chuck new home

Left Meteor Crater RV park monday morning.  Arrived at TJ's condo about noon.   Then we went over to see Bill & Chuck's new house. Very nice.  That night we had dinner at TJ's with a game of Mexican train later.   On Tuesday morning, TJ & I did a 1.5 hr walk.  Then breakfast. Off to do some geocaching.   Later in the day we went to see Kenny & Scott.   Back on the road to Meteor Crater around 5pm

5/24 tue Buffalo ranch

Tuesday 5/23. Faith (c0-worker and geocacher) & I left Meteor Crater RV park for the 12 mi ride in the Polaris to the geocache. Paul, Faith's husband couldn't join us. We did this same trip llast year (Oct). We find the geocache-- yeaaaa. Fun ride. Dirt roads, down into the canyon, passing the Ranger's ranch house , then a very rocky ride for 1 mile. The last .24 mi we hiked to the cache. Saw no buffalo's. Did see lots of cows and some antelopes.

5/23 mon Happy Jack area

Drove out to the lake Mary rd (from Fagstaff). About a 30mi drive to an area call Happy Jack were there is alot of camping in the forrest. Went on to two hiking trips to find geocaches.
My first stop, parked the jeep and hiked about 1 mi to the cache. Hiked thru a meadow that was go green do running water. Before going up 200 ft, I stopped do some Elk watching me. Couldn't get camera out fast enough for picture.
Next was further down Lake Mary Rd. Parked and hiked another 1.5 in to the cache near a water tank. Back to Flagstaff to see a movie at 5pm.

5/16 Sedona hike/Grasshopper

5/16 monday.  The four of us, Kathy/Dereck,Kim & myself headed to Sedona to go after this geocache call Grasshopper Vista.  Took us about 3 hours. We had cross over a creek, climb up, hike on level ground and then up,up.  Great view. Fun adventure.
