to Scottsdale 3/28 mon

Left Meteor Crater RV park at 7am for the trip to Scottsdale (2 1/2 hr) . Going to the Harkins theater to see a ballet, Coppelia, for a live broadcast from Paris France. My time 1030am , Paris is 730PM. About 10:10am the theater screen started to do the test patern, the screen came alive. The camera was focus on the stair case in the Paris Opera house. Cool. I was able to take some pictures (cell ph) prior to the performance at 1020am. Ballet was great with the camera broadcasting from the stage. We even got a 20 min intermission. After the performance (over s hrs) had a nice lunch next door. Did some geocaching in the area before returning to the RV. Harkins theater

Movie & geocaching 3/14

Monday 3/14.. We headed to Flagstaff (co-workers: Kathy/Derek & Kim) to see the movie Battle: LA. Prior to getting there, we stopped at Granny's Closet Rstr to find a geocache at the Lumber Jack statue. After the movie to found another geocache off of Rt 66. Movie was great. Another stop at Hastings book/music store then back home Off of Rt 66

Kindle (Ereader)

3/12 sat My first day off and heading to Flagstaff Best Buy to purchase a Kindle 3G (Ereader). Downloaded some novels. One was free and the other I had to purchase. Even subscribed to the Reader Digest. Reading my first novel, The Last Oracle by James Rollins. Plan to do more reading this summer. Nice new toy. I can even Sync it to my Droid phone and read it from there. Fun

Car Show- Yuma 3/5

3/5 sat morning. The annual car show here in Yuma called Midnight at the Oasis. Attended the event before heading out to Flagstaff northern AZ. Over a hundred different types of cars. Really Cooll

Travel to Meteor Crater 3/4

Travel to MC sat & sun Left Yuma on saturday afternoon for a return trip to MC (Flagstaff AZ). My summer job from March to the end of Oct. Stayed overnight in Havasu City (hwy 95 & Interstate 40) at the Mobil gas station. Continue on early sunday moring. Arrived at MC RV park around 11:30am. My travel was great, no snow, rain or wind compared to last year's travel. Will start work on wed 3/9.
