Caching in Prescott Valley 11/20 friday

Decided to take a drive to Prescott Valley and do some geocaching. Also it will be much warmer down there rather then staying at Meteor Crater. There are tons of caches there. I got some by traveling along Hwy 169 to 69. At the end of the day, went back to I-17. Then to the Cliff casino for dinner and some slot machine fun.
Fence post had a hidden cache tube. This cache was called the Woodpecker.

Geocaching-outside of Sedona 11/05

Stopped along hwy 179 to do some geocaching. This is Beaver creek. During the spring time this will be rushing with water. Had to go the other side of the creek and climb a steel latter to be on top of this bridge. Cache was located inside a hole with a rock on top. The area was so neat with the trees in different colors.
Had to climb latter. Forest Serv measures the water flow.

Holy Cross Chapel/Sedona 11/05

After leaving Sedona traveling on hwy 179 then onto Chapel Rd to see the Holy Cross Chapel. Its been many years seeing this one. The area around it has changed so much--- a mansion in front of it and a walk way to the chapel. Views are great. Gives one a nice feeling.

Sedona/Pink Jeep tour 11/5

Thur 11/5 Trip to Sedona to take a Pink Jeep tour ride.
You can see more pictures in my Web album.
....................................................................................................................
I previously called to make a reservation for the "Broken Arrow" tour. The ride will be a off-road 4x4 experience. And it was. A 2 1/2 hr adventure. We climbed aboard about 9am with our driver, Shane. A family of 5 from WI was my company and I was elected to sit in the front with the driver. About a 3 mi ride down the road to Broken Arrow Dr and then into the red rock area. There is parking there for the hikers. Our driver shifted in 4 wheel as we had to go over a 14" speed bump. Then riding around the trees on a dirt road. We stopped 3 times to get out and take pictures. The weather was great in the morning. Shane was very informative along with his skilled driving. He does alot of off-road driving. After returning to the Jeep parking lot, I purchase a T-shirt and then off for a early lunch and some more sight seeing. Later to the Chapel and geocaching.

Picture taken at the end of the trip. Family from WI, me & driver Shane.
